Crocheted doll called Amigurumi. The doll has the shape of an octopus with many heads and snakes coming out from its mouth.

Amigurumi is an empowering crafting activity that help us reclaim our ability to create our own toys and dolls.  It is sculpting and requires time and effort.

Crochet can be only created by hand, it makes us active participant in making the products we consume and it is very fun and addictive!

This book is the first  one of it’s kind, that has both the birth of Amigurumi and insights from top designers from the world of Amigurumi.

Additionally, the book touches upon several topics, both talking about my own experience with fiber arts as a catactic medium for mental wellbeing, but also defines principles of Amigurumi design based on surveys and Interviews with Amigurumi enthusiasts and designers.
