My Anatomical heart featured in “Jag måste sticka” series on Yle

“Knitting is great! Eva Pursiainen is one of many people who started knitting during the coronavirus pandemic. She explores the reasons behind the huge knitting trend that has swept the world. Knitting is not just a pastime that has left the shelves of yarn shops empty. It quickly turns out that knitting is good for both health and the environment, and is also intertwined with both culture and society.”

In this series, Eva explores knitting and crocheting through different topic including mental health. In episode two, Eva interviewed me to know my perspective on crafting with yarn as a catarctic activity to improve mental wellbeing. During the interview we sat and knitted, discussed about life in Finland, knitting and crocheting as my personal coping mechanism during challenging times among other topics.
